Dear members,

Due to low attendance (seasonal interests (sports), end of school year, etc.), there will be no Mock Meet on Friday June 12 2026. We will continue with practice that focuses more on fun & technique.

Last day of training (for groups Initiation, Development, Relief & Masters) is Friday June 26.

Wednesday, June 24 (St-Jean) is a holiday (QC) and there will not be any training.

En raison d'une faible participation (activités saisonnières (sportives), fin de l'année scolaire, etc.), il n'y aura pas de compétition d'entraînement le vendredi 12 juin 2026. Nous poursuivrons les entraînements en mettant davantage l'accent sur le plaisir et la technique.

Le dernier jour d'entraînement (pour les groupes Initiation, Développement, Relève, et Maîtres) est le vendredi 26 juin.

Le mercredi 24 juin (Saint-Jean) est un jour férié (Québec) et il n'y aura pas d'entraînement.

Ontario Eastern Regional Championships (May 28-31 2026)
DAY 3 - Recap

The final day of competition did not disappoint. ORCA was represented by three swimmers and true to ORCA pride they gave it everything they had. Adri and Evan found finals for all events swam today. Results will come later tonight for the older boys.

400m IM
+ New PB!
7th heading into “A” Finals tonight

Evan (13-14)
200m Freestyle
+ New PB!
+ Placed for “B” Finals

200m Backstroke
+ New PB!
+ Placed for “B” Finals

Emmett (10 & under)
100m Butterfly
+ New PB!
+ 4th place finish

200m Backstroke

+ New Standard (Regionals 11 yrs)

****UPDATE****
Adriel finishes 6th with a new PB dropping another 3 seconds in the final for the 400m IM.

Evan makes some waves finishing 11th overall (3rd in his final heat) for the 200m backstroke, dropping 5 seconds for a new PB.

Just prior, Evan also swam an awesome 200m Free, dropping a second for a new PB.

Ontario Eastern Regional Championships (May 28-31 2026)

It was a great day for the team on their 1st day! ORCA was represented by 4 members: Adriel, Evan, Eli & Emmett. Eli was our returning member, leading off of a great winter championships back in Kingston from January 2026.

200m Breaststroke - PB!
50m Free - Stable, attemped a new strategy.

Evan (13-14)
200m Breaststroke - re-established baseline after many years
100m Backstroke -

Eli (11-12)
100m Backstroke - Consistent, repeating his PB.
200 IM - PB! + New Standard

Emmett (10 & under)
100m Backstroke - PB + New Standard (11 yrs) + 6th place finish
50m Butterfly - PB + New Standard (10 yrs) + 5th place finish

We are just getting started and are looking forward to Day 2 for ORCA!
