Cheers to teamwork. This past Saturday, we were so excited to see 66 teams back with us on Harrison Lake! And despite the colder than normal (and windier than normal) conditions, we came together as a community and had a great day of racing!

While the weather looks a bit chillier and wetter for this Saturday compared to previous race days in Harrison, we're getting ready for red hot racing on water that'll keep us all warm!

If you're coming into Harrison, please expect a higher volume of traffic around Hot Springs Road and Esplanade Avenue. Parking is available near Miami River Drive and Hot Springs Road, just a few blocks down the pathway. Teams will be able to set up their tents starting mid Friday afternoon or Saturday morning on the beach by the Lagoon. Please note that ALL tents must be weighted down.

As we get closer to the event, we're continuously monitoring conditions on the ground alongside our partners. We thank all of the firefighters and first responders helping protect communities across our province, and in other places around the country during this challenging summer season.

Get ready to race: next Saturday can't come fast enough as we hit Harrison Lake again! ☀️ Take a look at the options waiting for you at the Oddball Workshop tent next weekend: make sure to visit them as well as the Harrison Paddling Club tent to support local organizations!

As well, make a list and check it twice: the race grid is now up as well as important information on arrivals, parking, and services on site at dragonboatbc.ca/harrison!

1 month to go! We're getting close to this year's Festival on July 25, and we're excited to welcome teams from the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley, Interior, Vancouver Island, and Washington back to Harrison Lake! 🌊

If you're racing, make sure you've signed your waiver! Team administrators: ensure you've created your team rosters and sent out waiver reminders via register.dragonboatbc.ca, especially if you haven't checked your team profile in a while. Email [email protected] for assistance. Team name changes are due in the system before July 10.

As the air gets lighter, and the days get longer, we're already dreaming ahead to when we'll be back out at Harrison Lake in July for the Harrison Dragon Boat Festival! One of BC's most gorgeous areas comes alive as almost 70 teams take to the water- and the event's over 50% sold out now!
