Improvisation with Sydney Ewert
Sydney (she/her) is an emerging contemporary dance artist based in Sikunme’katik (Gaspereau, Nova Scotia). Her work explores the intersections of dance, community, and accessibility through performance, education, and creative research.
In this all-ages workshop, dancers and dance lovers alike will have the opportunity to move and groove together. Through simple improvisational tools and games inspired by contemporary dance, participants will explore choice, creativity, and connection in motion.
Whether it’s your first or your hundredth dance workshop, you are warmly invited to join in.

Ukrainian Dance with Ryan Snitynsky
Ryan is a Ukrainian dance instructor and choreographer with a passion for sharing the richness and energy of Ukrainian folk dance.
In this all-ages workshop, participants will be introduced to movement traditions from different regions of Ukraine through an accessible, beginner-friendly exploration of folk dance.
From the steppes to the mountains, join us as we explore rhythm, culture, and movement together.
