What an incredible day! 💞

So many people came out to cheer us on, celebrate with us, and enjoy the new home of KMSD.
It was pure joy watching some of our dancers fill the upstairs studio with dance and happiness!

And now… the exhaustion has officially arrived! 😂 Time for some sleep and a little rest before Season 18 officially begins on Monday.

Here are a few photos from my phone. Our wonderful photographer and videographer will have MUCH better images to share, I’m sure!

It’s been 50 days since the work began to move out of our old studio and create our new home at 378 10th Street.

50 days of people showing up. Volunteering their time. Helping wherever they could.

50 days of little sleep, lots of Advil, sore muscles and very achy feet. 😂

To my husband, KMSD staff (and their husbands!) and every single person who gave their time, picked up a paintbrush, carried a box, hung something, cleaned something, or simply asked, “What can I do?” … thank you. We could not have done this without you.

Tomorrow, we get to open the doors and introduce you to the beautiful new home of KMSD.

A beautiful old building brought back to life and soon to be filled with dance and happiness.

I can’t wait to welcome you to KMSD.
