Our U7 Ancaster AVS program will run Saturdays 2-3!

Girls hockey is making a movement in a big way! Our U7 program is a great way to introduce your 5 & 6 year old to the wonderful world of girls hockey! Theyโ€™re never too young!

๐Ÿ—ž๏ธ Big News! The U7 Avs will be led by Hayleigh Cudmore who has exceptional hockey experience in professional womenโ€™s hockey on the Calgary Inferno, as well as Canadaโ€™s National Womenโ€™s hockey team and NCAA Division 1 at Cornell University. She will be supported at points throughout the season by Brianne Jenner from the PWHL Hamilton team.

๐Ÿ“ฃ Coaching Announcement!

We are excited to announce Andy Porter as our U9 HL Coach for the 2026-2027 Avalanche season! Welcome Andy! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Andy grew up playing minor hockey in Dundas. He also refereed boysโ€™ minor hockey and has also been a team trainer. Andy has previously been an assistant coach for his oldest daughtersโ€™ team in the past few seasons in Ancaster.

Andy absolutely loves being on the bench and around the rink. In Andyโ€™s words: โ€œI believe fist bumps, taps on the pads and words of encouragement between teammates and coaches is the key to bringing positive energy to the rink. Iโ€™m very excited for this upcoming season!โ€
