About Duel Nature Fencing Club

Established in 2015, Duel Nature Fencing Club offers high performance training to competitive fencers, as well as programs for all ages and skill levels. Fencing is as rewarding as it is challenging, and DNA has a program suited to anyone who wants to give it a try, or take their training to the next level. About the Head Coach

Josh McGuire, a Hamilton native, be

gan fencing at age 6, and competed for Canada in two Olympic games (Athens and Beijing) before retiring from competition in 2008. Since then, he has been coaching in the Hamilton/GTA area and has helped athletes reach the national and international level. DNA also provides opportunities for participants of the club and visitors to free fence. A Duel Nature Recreational Membership or a Guest Fee is required. Elite fencers may or may not participate, as they choose. See schedule for allotted times.
