Mountaineers split doubleheader, snapping a 54-game losing streak to the Saints dating back to 2008.

HAMILTON, Ont. – The Mohawk Mountaineers women's softball team opened its 2026 season with a dramatic 3-2 walk-off victory over the St. Clair Saints before dropping the second game of the doubleheader 14-0.

Join us tomorrow for the Mohawk Mountaineers Women’s Softball season opener versus St. Clair and our kick-off BBQ.

All proceeds will go towards 2026-27 Mountaineer community initiatives, such as our annual holiday toy drive.

First pitch is scheduled for 2 PM with the second game of the doubleheader to follow at 4 PM.
