Hi Hamilton! I’m the owner of Oak Co Tree Services & Property Maintenance, and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and our company to the city we’re proud to work in.

I’ve been working in the tree care industry for 12 years, gaining extensive hands-on experience with everything from tree removals and pruning to hazardous trees, storm damage, and property maintenance.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work throughout Hamilton and the surrounding communities, building relationships with homeowners, businesses, and property owners and getting to know the community we serve.

Now, through Oak Co Tree Services, our goal is simple: provide professional, safe, and reliable tree care while treating every property like it’s our own.

Carpenter ants usually do not kill healthy trees.

Unlike termites, carpenter ants do not eat wood. They excavate galleries in wood to create nests. Most often, they choose wood that is already:

* Decaying
* Water-damaged
* Hollow
* Weakened by disease or injury

So if you find carpenter ants in a tree, they’re often a symptom of an existing problem, not the original cause.

However, carpenter ants can contribute to a tree’s decline by:

* Enlarging cavities inside trunks or branches
* Weakening structural integrity
* Increasing the risk of branch breakage or storm damage
