Do it Hello Single women of faith, My Name is BrendaLee Abram Nakamura and I lived Single to Married - God's Way!

My entire adult life I spent centering it around men... all the wrong men I may add. In fact I looked for love in all the wrong places. Toxic relationship after toxic relationship. It wasn't till I laid down the whole man hunt for a time out, for the purpose of BECOMING THE RIGHT WOMAN, BEFORE GOD GAVE ME THE RIGHT MAN. God put me through a process, that I call the No More GAGA process, Then and

only then was I able to make the changes needed to have a healthy relationship in a marriage. This program is LIFE CHANGING! A real eye opener starting from the inside out. This program takes you to places you may have never considered before. It will have you look at life in a whole new way. It will magnify and examine your relationship with God & Self before you find the Spouse. So if you want a successful relationship/marriage than this program is for YOU. GAGA means CRAZY! You don't have to be GAGA or CRAZY to take this program, perhaps you just are a who wants more wisdom. Start with the 40-Day devotional book, and the Self Paced Program is COMING SOON. I look forward to your success as you embark on the most important journey ever! Brenda Abram Nakamura

Ahhhh… September. 🍂❤️

There’s something about September that makes me want to stop, take a deep breath and say…

“Okay God… what’s next?” ✨

We welcome September with a heart full of summer memories — boating, swimming, surfing, campfires, starry nights, barefoot days and SO many good times.

And now… we embrace the newness on the horizon.

For my hubby and me, September is our natural time to pause and reflect. Actually, at the end of EVERY season, we stop, ponder, pray and plan.

We ask ourselves:

✨ How’s it going?
✨ Are we doing what we REALLY want to be doing?
✨ Are we on the right track?
✨ Are we living out our God-given purpose?
✨ Is there something MORE we need to add?
✨ Is there something LESS we need to let go of?
✨ Are we making space for what matters most?
✨ What shifts do we need to make going forward?

I’m so grateful for my Bradley. ❤️

We’re not always identical in our thoughts or ideas, but we’re in the same book — and I’m pretty sure we’re on the same chapter! 😂

Having someone beside you who cheers you on, believes in your crazy ideas, dreams with you, prays with you and says “Let’s do this!” is such a gift.

So here’s my September encouragement:

Have a seasonal check-in.

As an individual.
As a couple.
As a family.

STOP.
PONDER.
PRAY.
PLAN.
Then… DO THE THING! 🙌

Because life doesn’t just happen.

Life is by Design. ✨

Yesterday, I had the privilege of speaking to a group of people who are approaching the end of their earthly lives.

For most people, the end of life means death. But I wanted to challenge them to look at it differently.

What if it’s not the end?

I shared three things I believe are essential as we journey through this life and prepare for what comes next.

1. RELATIONSHIP — not religion.

We have a God who loves us deeply. A God who came to us through Jesus, who gave His life for our sins. I believe there is an afterlife, and I believe we have a choice in how we live this life and how we respond to His invitation.

2. FORGIVENESS.

This one was huge.

I could feel the room leaning in as I shared my own personal struggles with forgiveness. Because we all have people who come to mind—family members, friends, coworkers, people who have hurt us, disappointed us, or left wounds behind.

But why do we forgive?

Not for them.
For us.

Forgiveness is about releasing what we have been carrying and handing it over to God. It is choosing to let go of the pressure, guilt, shame, anger, bitterness—even envy—that can weigh so heavily on our hearts.

Forgiveness doesn’t change the past.

It changes our future.

3. AN INVITATION.

An invitation to freedom.

An invitation to open our hearts and allow God to come in and do His work in us.

Because one day, we will all face the end of our earthly journey. And I believe we should prepare our hearts—not later, but now.

So my challenge is simple:

Make the decision now. Not later.

Love God.
Love people.
Love yourself.

Maybe that really is the secret to Happiness,
a life of freedom, peace and joy—and ultimately, to being ready for what comes next.

The end of this life doesn’t have to be the end of the story. ❤️

Be YOU. ✨

“Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.”

No more complaining.
No more comparison.
No more wishing you were someone else.

God made you wonderfully unique. 💛

Your gifts. Your talents. Your abilities.
Your quirks, lumps, bumps, failures AND victories.
Every piece of your story adds up to YOU.

You have a specific role to play on this earth.
So don’t look around—look within.
Then look UP… and listen. 🙏

Trust the gifts you’ve been given.
Trust the path unfolding before you.
And when you know what you’re called to do…

DO THE THING. ✨

A Personal Page in the Book & Life of Brenda

When I am utterly alone, I celebrate.

I celebrate one of life’s most intimate gifts.

In solitude, I see, hear, and feel God’s beautiful creation more deeply. I get to know myself a little better every single time. Breathing space in privacy renews my mind, refreshes my spirit, and rejuvenates my body.

I sink into my cozy egg chair, overflowing with pillows and sarongs, surrounded by books, journals, colorful pens, lemon water, and the gentle breeze drifting in from the lake. My heart comes alive with anticipation.

This is my time to think, ponder, pray, praise, dream, and simply be.

It’s a sacred appointment that deserves a permanent place on my calendar. The setting may change. The seasons may change. But this ritual of celebrating me on an ordinary day is one I never want to lose.

I encourage everyone to learn to love their own company. Protect your thinking time. Guard it as a healthy boundary that should never be removed.

If you’re already living this way, congratulations. You understand the gift.

If you’re not… what are you waiting for? There are no perfect conditions to begin. You are worth making time for.

Remember…

A better you creates a better we—every single time.

‼️‼️‼️
When I was a kid, I was fearless.

I’d dive from the highest rock, catch crayfish and frogs, and wear seaweed on my head as a wig… just because it was fun.

But somewhere along the way, fear quietly crept in. I started imagining what might be. Something slithering through the grass. A muskie fish biting my toes. My imagination began stealing moments that were meant to be lived.

How many adventures have I missed because of “what if”?

Not this weekend.

This weekend I made a decision: I’m choosing freedom over fear. I’m leaving the “what ifs” behind and stepping fully into the life that’s waiting for me.

Here’s to living our best life… one brave step at a time. 💛

“Sometimes the greatest adventure is simply saying yes to the moment.”

Wakey, wakey! ☀️

My morning reminder: Use it or lose it.

A commitment to your health isn’t always easy, but the things that matter most rarely are. Every small step adds up.

You don’t have to be an athlete—far from it. You just have to move. Stretch. Walk. Dance. Breathe. Start where you are and keep showing up.

Your future self will thank you. 💛

The clock of life is wound but once
And no man has the power
To tell just where the hands will stop
At late or early hour.
To lose one’s wealth is sad indeed, To lose one’s health is more;
To lose one’s soul is such a loss
As no man can restore.
The present only is our own, To seek to do God’s will;
Tomorrow holds no promise, for The clock may then be still... behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
2 Corinthians 6:2

Thank you Sandy Mceachern
The prompt came in handy as yesterday I had the privilege to speak to 25ish seniors and staff at a retirement home about the shortness of time, but we are not to late for the Love of God and forgiveness.

I wasn’t expecting that invitation… came out of nowhere.. you are to funny God. You hear and see everyone and everything! 😂😘

All the chasing.
All the busyness of life.
All the striving.
All the doing.

None of it is wrong. In fact, much of it is good.

But somewhere along the way, we can forget the most important part…

Who we’re being.

Because in the end, it’s not just what we accomplish that shapes our lives—it’s the person we become along the way.

Be present.
Be kind.
Be grateful.
Just… be. ❤️
