The format of this 60 minute stroller class allows participants to work at their own skill, fitness, and strength levels. If you love a high-intensity workout, you can choose to push the limits of your strength, speed, and endurance by choosing high-intensity options. If you're new t

o exercise, if you've been inactive for a long time, or if you are still recovering from delivery you can choose lower-impact options. Class is held at 10:00 am on Thursdays at Soccer World (104 Frid St, Hamilton).

🔸There was a lot of multi tasking this past week -which truly is training for mom life! Very functional!

🔸Truly a pleasure guiding these classes. Finding the common humanity every class is refreshing!

🔸Hardest part is watching the babes develop and hit new milestones (lots of crawlers now).

🔸It’s important to take time and safely work on the posterior chain and extension!

🔸In the world of new parenting our posture seems like is 90% of day in a forward or flexed position. Feeding, playing, carrying, holding, leaning over crib … list goes on.

🔸Don’t forget to change up your posture! Mix it up- if you feel you have been in same posture for a while- switch it up!

🔸Good news Spring session #2 starts next week!

🔸Here are some things to remember!

-clear covid screening
-Dress in layers- soccer world can start off chilly...
- baby (or sometimes just you).
- good running/ walking shoes
-blanket to lie babe down- or snuggle up in
-water
-NO EXPECTATIONS! Know that if first time back or ever to a class - it’s okay to take it slow!

🔸For those new to Strollerfit here is the breakdown of class:

1. We start off by finding a spot on the turf spread yourselves out and set up your area (lay down blanket get settled)

2. Then we start sharing/ venting circle- just introductions, talk about successes, maybe need to vent, share resources etc for 5 minutes

3. A warmup (dynamic and get heart pumping)for 5 minutes

4. The heart of the class consists of strolling, handiwork, core work-20-30 minutes

5. Cool down and good byes! 5 minutes

🔸If you have yet to pay for the classes or only paid the deposit you can e-transfer the remainder. For those bringing bands full fee is $60 (the deposit was 15$) for those who need bands the full fee was $75 (deposit was $15). You can bring cash, cheque or e-transfer to this email! For those who have done 2 sessions in row and missed we will pro rate (and send you different link)!

🔸Please don’t hesitate to reach out. The first class is just to get used to getting back into the swing of things.
