Passport – Highly recommended for the smoothest crossing

Enhanced Driver’s License (EDL) or Birth Certificate + Photo ID (passport still best)

Valid Driver’s License – required

Proof of Status – if you’re a Permanent Resident (Green Card holder)

🏎️ For Your Race Car & Equipment

Vehicle Ownership Docs: Title, registration, bill of sale, or logbook

Race Entry Proof: Event letter from the sanctioning body confirming participation and temporary import

Itemized List: All tools, parts, and equipment with country of origin & value

U.S. Customs Form 4455: Get this stamped when exiting the U.S. to ensure smooth re-entry

Vehicle Condition: Tow vehicle & trailer in good order and clear of recalls

Insurance: Confirm your policy covers Canada or obtain a non-resident insurance card

Leaving the U.S.: Present equipment to CBP and get Form 4455 signed

Entering Canada: Provide event letter and itemized list to CBSA for temporary entry approval

Returning to the U.S.: Be ready to show Form 4455 and all documentation

Thats a wrap on our 2025 season 🏁 Cliff and I have had the privilege of running many different series both sides of the border, in many eras and let me tell you there is nothing like SOMA. We want to take this opportunity to thank all our Sponsors who choose our club to represent your brand. To the track owners who choose to let “us” put on a show for your fans (Flamboro, Sauble and Sunset) we enjoyed every minute. To our volunteers who kept us in-line, on time and smiling, thanks for all your hard work. To the SOMA Sweethearts who kept each one of our bellies full after the races or before we headed out - your generosity and dishes where delicious ❣️ To the Mercer Family, for all you do all year long so we can have the best season possible and continue to grow this group. To my crew, you stood on your heads, patched us up, and did anything asked of you, for that I can’t thank you enough.
We are a unique group of 60 year old rookies, with 15 year old veterans, all willing to help a fellow competitor get back on the track, so we can race them to the next corner. We celebrate personal bests as much as checkered flags, and love to give back to our fans. We are a “gentleman’s club where respect, integrity and honour abound. We are a racing family that always has room for one more. WHAT A NIGHT for Baby Gorilla Racing 😁
Not only did our fearless leader bring home an incredible 1st Place Plaque for this season …. so did our amazing pit crew❣️ Congratulations Louise and Ray for being voted Pit Crew 2025. This girl couldn’t be more excited for Baby Gorilla Racing as a team!!! We had a fun filled banquet with laughs, awards, great music and screens showing both the hockey game and the ball game!! What more could a girl ask for? Well when she is part of a family like SOMA the answer is nothing 🏁
