Secondchance5km An inaugural 5 km race in Hamilton, to support Interval House, a local organization helping women fleeing relationship violence/ abuse.

A great opportunity to raise some money for an excellent organization, while having a fun day out. On November 18th, 2006, the police knocked down the door to my house and pulled my ex-boyfriend off a barely conscious me. Had my neighbors not called, I would undeniably be dead. Sadly, not every woman is as lucky as I was. And so starts the SecondChance5Km run, to be held on November 20th, 2021. Al

l proceeds from this run will go to local domestic abuse initiatives, in an effort to support women who are struggling to leave their abusive situations. The run will be held in Bayfront Park, here in Hamilton, Ontario.
