忍, Shinobu, means to endure with patience, stay calm under pressure, control the heart, and keep going without giving up. In Karate, this teaches students to stay composed when training becomes hard, control anger and fear, accept correction with humility, and repeat the basics with patience.
A true karateka does not quit when progress feels slow. A true karateka learns to endure, adjust, and continue. Through 忍, students build a strong mind with a strong body and turn difficulty into discipline.

All the mats are washed, picked up and rewashed and loaded ready to bring to the church hall for our temporary dojo. Will be starting the unloading into hall around 5:00 if you are available to help. Right now taking a bit of a rest.

Unfortunately the dojo will be closed until further notice due to a fire in the building. Smoke damage must be assessed before resuming use as either just cleaning or a complete tear out. We will look for some alternatives for classes in the meantime.
