Nationals Recap

Solid weekend for the team. Friday we found our speed again and went 5th to 3rd in a tough heat. In the feature we ended up 6th and made some big gains.

Saturday at Nationals, we started behind the eight ball with a less than ideal qualifying lap. In the heat we were decent and went 6th to 5th. In the B-main, we had great speed. Started 2nd and finished 2nd to transfer to the Nationals A-main.

In the feature, we were excited to see what we could do. Unfortunately, on the initial start the field checked up and we smashed the front wing, knocking it off. That did us in.

Not the result we wanted but we once again found some speed and overall, we had a great weekend. A massive thank you to Nic, Cassidy, Jim, Frances, Aimee, J-May, Jamie, and everyone at Team Turner Racing for their help this weekend.

We close out the season at Merrittville Speedway on October 4th. One more ride for the Bendt Kitchens and Millwork,Six Nations Tourism, 87speed, Schmuck Truck, JM Craftsmen, Hansma Automotive Service Inc. 19D.
