Drivers and teams, Pit Notes are here for this weekend’s racing at Flamboro Speedway!

We’ve got a packed night ahead featuring the return of the Ontario Sportsman Series with Twin 50-Lap Features, plus the first annual Flower Pot 51’s for the Pure Stocks and Mini Stocks in honour of Petal Power 51! 🌸🏁

🌸 FLOWER POT 51’s 🌸
The Pure Stocks and Mini Stocks will each compete in a 25-lap race before intermission, followed by a 26-lap feature after intermission, giving each division 51 total laps of racing in honour of Petal Power 51!

Every position and every point matters from here on out!

Spend your Saturday night of the Labour Day long weekend with us at Flamboro Speedway on September 5th for a very special night of racing!

This Saturday, we’re proud to honour Clark & Ingrid Hartman of Petal Power 51 for everything they do to support grassroots racing across Ontario!

🏁 Our Pure Stocks & Mini Stocks will each run twin 25 & 26-lap features, making up the Flower Pot 51’s! The results will be combined, with the Top 3 overall in each division taking home some very unique trophies! 🏆

💰 We’ve also gotten word that there will be EXTRA CASH up for grabs throughout the field in BOTH divisions! Drivers, you won’t want to miss this one!

This weekend features Round #6 of the Flamboro Grisdale Showdown Series for the Pro Late Models, along with the Bob McClurkin Memorial for the Pure Stocks!

🔥 PURE STOCK TEAMS – PLEASE READ! 🔥

The starting lineups for the Pure Stock heat races will be determined by pill draw.

➡️ All Pure Stocks that competed at Flamboro Speedway on August 15th will be placed into starting positions ahead of any Pure Stocks that did not compete that night.

➡️ The TOP 5 finishers from each heat race will qualify for the Outlaw Re-Draw!

➡️ The 10 qualified drivers will take part in the Outlaw-style re-draw on the front stretch at intermission to determine their starting positions for the Bob McClurkin Memorial!

The Pro Late Models will also have a fan-pulled invert of 1–6 at intermission following group qualifying!

The rain may have kept us quiet this past weekend, but Flamboro Speedway is ready to fire back up this Saturday, August 29th with another huge night of short-track racing!

🔥 ROUND #6 — FLAMBORO GRISDALE SHOWDOWN SERIES
The championship battle continues with just three rounds remaining! Our Pro Late Models return for a 50-lap showdown as every position and every point becomes more important heading toward the end of the season.

🏁 BOB McCLURKIN MEMORIAL — PURE STOCKS
It’s also a special night for our Pure Stock competitors as we honour and remember Bob McClurkin with the annual Bob McClurkin Memorial.

🌧️🏁 RACING CANCELLED FOR TONIGHT — SATURDAY, AUGUST 22ND 🏁🌧️

Unfortunately, Mother Nature has won this one.

With the current rain at Flamboro Speedway and the forecast calling for more unsettled weather throughout the day, we have made the difficult decision to cancel tonight’s racing program.

We know how much everyone was looking forward to NorHeat Treatment Night, featuring the Ontario Sportsman Series Precision Edge 100 presented by KAM Wire EDM Technologies, along with the Can-Am Midgets, Ontario Pro Challenge Series presented by NorHeat Treatment Inc., Klotz Auto Repair Mini Stocks, Hogan Law & McClurkin Properties of Cambridge Pure Stocks and Kids Bike Races.

We always want to give our competitors and fans as much notice as possible, especially with many teams travelling a considerable distance to race with us.

A huge thank you to all of our competitors, fans, sponsors and staff for their understanding and continued support.
