INTERNATIONAL SHOWDOWN AT THE GEC 🦆🏒🇮🇪
Hockey has a way of bringing the world together, and tonight, the TASA Ducks Black have a very special opportunity.

After a difficult morning on the scoreboard, we are wiping the slate clean for a 5:30 PM puck drop against our guests from across the Atlantic—Ireland (Irish Ice Hockey Association). It is an honor to welcome an international team to our home barn for an Odyssey Bracket clash that these players will remember for a long time.

We are heading back to GEC Rink D—the "Championship Rink"—for this one. While we extend a warm "Céad Míle Fáilte" (A hundred thousand welcomes) to our opponents, we are also ready to show them the heart, discipline, and skill that makes this TASA group Built Better. A tough loss is just a setup for a great comeback. Let’s get back to our game and represent TASA Minor Hockey with pride!

Two games down, two New Brunswick wins in the books, and the Ducks Black are officially 2-0 in the tournament's top-tier bracket. After a solid 5-2 victory this morning, we’re keeping the momentum moving straight into the Friday night lights.

Tonight, we’re heading back to GEC Rink B for a 7:00 PM puck drop against Shediac Cap Pele Predators Leblanc. While we won the Gold Banner on Rink D, Rink B is our "office"—the practice ice where this team was actually Built Better.

Our third straight opponent from across the border brings a strong reputation, but we’re looking forward to defending our home barn in front of a Friday night crowd. No more school or work hour starts; it’s time to see if we can make it a 3-0 sweep.

Consistency is everything. While some prioritized early declarations throughout the regular season, we focused on the only finish that truly counts. A 9-0 victory in the final is the ultimate way to handle a #1 seed, proving that a banner is earned on the scoreboard, not by the schedule.

Adding the MMHL Championship to our Kyle Henneberry title makes it a banner year for this group. When you’re Built Better, you don't need to call it—you just go out and take it.

From early morning sessions and grueling dryland training to dominant tournament runs, this team has invested the hours when no one was watching to ensure they were ready for when the world is.
