Every World Cup journey starts somewhere.

For Jacob Shaffelburg, it started right here in Port Williams, Nova Scotia.

Before Canada’s last match, the students of Port Williams Elementary School came together in red and white to cheer on one of their own.

“Go Canada Go!”

From schoolyard dreams and community fields to representing Canada on the international stage, Jacob’s journey is a reminder to every young player in Nova Scotia that big dreams can grow from small places.

As Canada gets ready to take on Qatar tonight, an entire school, and an entire province, will be cheering him on once again.

Good luck, Shaff🇨🇦⚽️

Soccer can feel intimidating if your kid didn't start at age 4. We get it.

The costs and the gear may also feel like a lot. That is exactly why we built Game On.

With Canada playing a huge match tomorrow, lots of kids are going to want to try the sport.

This new fall program is a totally fresh start for 7-to-12-year-olds who are completely new to the game. No tryouts, no pressure, and low cost - just pure fun and a great way to make new friends.

Get them in before the match tomorrow night!

Is your kid already buzzing for Thursday’s game when Canada plays Qatar? 🍁

If they’re practicing their kicks in the living room, we have a great way to channel that energy.

We are launching Game On this fall. It is a brand-new pilot program made only for kids ages 7-12 who have never played soccer before. Built to be fun, low pressure, and easy on the budget.

Spaces are tight since it is a pilot, so grab a spot before Thursday’s kickoff craziness.

From Halifax to the world stage. 🌎⚽

Congratulations to Ibrahim, selected as one of just seven young athletes from over 700 participants across Canada to serve as an Official Match Ball Carrier at the FIFA World Cup.

After advancing through local tryouts in Halifax and the national finals in Toronto, Ibrahim represented Canada at the OMBC Cup in Los Angeles before earning his World Cup match assignment.

On June 21st, he’ll walk onto the pitch in Vancouver as the Official Match Ball Carrier for Egypt vs. New Zealand, a particularly special moment for the proud Egyptian-Canadian and lifelong soccer fan.

We can’t wait to see you represent Nova Scotia, Canada, and the soccer community on one of the world’s biggest stages. Congratulations, Ibrahim! 👏🇨🇦🇪🇬
