Halifax Enguardians Fencing Club Since 1978 the Halifax Enguardians fencing club has been offering a wide range of fencing instruction

Fencing is a sport which teaches discipline, builds strength, and sharpens the mind while embedding a deep sense of respect for others. Although this is a sport with it's roots in violence it has evolved to become one of the safest sports around. At Enguardians we continue the traditions of centuries past in a safe environment with modern equipment and nationally certified coaches. We offer introd

uctory classes for both youth and adults who are interested in the sport and all equipment is provided for you for no additional charge. After learning the basics fencers will have the option to move to into the more competitive classes and continue to build their skill with other experienced athletes.

There have been a couple of changes in our class times from years past. We are still meeting 3 times a week, with Mondays being reserved for Beginner fencers. Unfortunately we will not be having the Mini class again this term, we plan to resume the Mini program in Fall 2025.

There will be no classes on Easter Monday (April 1st). This was accounted for when planning our 10-class beginner term. The beginner program will still be 10 classes long.
