You can achieve anything you truly want.

Even in a place where no one knows you.
Even when you have to start again.
Even when no one sees how much work it takes behind the scenes.

But something I am still learning is this:

You have to rest too.

When you have big goals, it is easy to think you always have to go, go, go. Keep working. Keep pushing. Keep proving yourself.

But big success does not come from a tired mind.

Big dreams need energy.
Big dreams need patience.
Big dreams need discipline.
And big dreams need you to take care of yourself too.

So keep going. Keep believing. Keep working for the life you want.

But do not forget to rest on the way.

Through the years, so much has changed.

Different stages, different costumes, different music, different versions of me.

But aerial silks still bring me back to the same feeling.

Strength, freedom, discipline, trust, and that quiet moment in the air where everything else disappears.

No matter how many times I perform, I still love this.

The life of an artist means getting to become so many different characters.

Every costume, every stage, every performance brings out a different side of you.

But glamour will always be one of my favourites.

The sparkle, the elegance, the confidence, the drama, the feeling of stepping into another era.

Maybe that is why I love performing so much. For a moment, you get to become someone else, but somehow still feel completely yourself.

Some days I am the strong girl.

And some days I am still strong, but with tears in my eyes.

This is not about one specific problem. It is about being the kind of person who always has goals in front of her.

Goals. Goals. Goals.
Go. Go. Go.

As a circus artist, performer, coach, and business owner, I always feel like I need to keep moving, keep creating, keep improving, and keep pushing forward.

Most of the time, I hold everything together. I smile, work, train, teach, perform, and keep going.

But sometimes I forget that I am human too.

Emotions are real. Overwhelm is real. Even people who look confident and strong go through moments you may never see.

So this is a small reminder for me, and maybe for someone else too:

You can be ambitious and still need a pause.
You can be strong and still cry.
You can have big dreams and still feel tired.

Rest does not mean you are giving up.
It means you are human.

Keep going, but don’t forget to take care of yourself on the way.

Through the years, so much has changed.

Different hoop performances, different costumes, different gear, different stages, different versions of me.

But one thing has stayed the same: I still love doing this.

No matter how many times I perform, there is something about being in the air that always brings me back to who I am.

POV: You came to see the buskers and couldn’t help but stop for pictures with this amazing silver statue.

Some performances just make the whole festival feel magical.

In 2018, I met this wonderful performer in Quebec City, and I still remember how I couldn’t stop smiling during his show.

Mi amigo Pancho Libre 🌟

He is truly one of the funniest and most talented performers I have ever met from Mexico 🇲🇽
His energy, timing, personality, and connection with the audience are unforgettable.

If you are in Halifax for the Halifax Busker Festival, please go see his performance. I will definitely be watching his show again.

As a circus artist myself, I always admire the incredible artists who come to Canada and to Halifax to share their talent with us. These are the moments that remind me why I love this world so much.

Thank you to Halifax Busker Festival for bringing him back to Downtown Halifax Halifax Regional Municipality

I’m finally ready to share these beautiful pictures with you. 🤍

This morning was incredibly special to me. It was the morning I became a bride, filled with excitement, emotion, and the quiet moments of getting ready for one of the most meaningful days of my life.

There are so many beautiful photographs and memories still to come, but I wanted to begin by sharing these first precious moments 🤍

In 2018, my sister took me on a trip to Montreal. I remember standing outside the Cirque du Soleil headquarters with my eyes wide open, walking around the building and trying to understand that I was really there.

This was the place where artists from around the world trained and created. It was the place so many circus artists dreamed of reaching. I couldn’t believe that a girl from Belarus was standing right in front of it.

After that trip, I returned to Belarus before eventually coming back to Canada and building my life here.

This photo was taken four years later, in 2022, during another unforgettable trip to Montreal with Dawn Shepherd and Ryan Gray the amazing team from Breaking Circus . We had the opportunity to tour inside Cirque du Soleil, and I realized that I had never shared the full story behind this picture.

When I was living in Belarus and preparing to move to Canada, everyone told me, “You’re going to Canada. You have to perform with Cirque du Soleil!”

But I didn’t move to Montreal. I moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia, a place I now love with all my heart and feel deeply grateful to call home. My original plan to go directly to Cirque du Soleil was pushed to the side, but the dream never disappeared.

The truth is, I never applied. Once, I even started the application, but I didn’t submit it. At that time, I had responsibilities and my beloved dog, and I couldn’t imagine leaving her behind.

Whenever I watched a circus show, part of me felt sad because I knew how deeply I still wanted that dream.

But along the way, I discovered another dream: creating something of my own. Today, that dream is becoming real through Sky Entertainment & Studio Halifax . I’m building my own company, producing shows, creating opportunities for other artists, and bringing my ideas to life.

I still believe that one day I will perform with Cirque du Soleil Casting . Maybe that day is closer than I think.

For now, I will keep training, creating, performing, and moving forward. Some dreams take a different road, but that doesn’t mean they are gone. 🎪✨
