FOR THE LOVE OF FLAMENCO
is a performance group of dedicated flamenco
dancers based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, under the artistic direction of Maria Osende. Featuring anywhere between 4 and 12 dancers, their
performances offer a varied and colourful selection of flamenco
dance and music styles, showcasing this passionate art form which has taken root in the Maritimes. The purpose of the group is to

bring flamenco to Nova Scotians, as well as to provide performance opportunities for the dancers from the Flamenco Dance School Maria Osende. The group has performed in several occasion and festivals, including Nova sofia Multicultural Festival, La Velada, Canada Day Celebrations and many more.
