🥅 Join Ringette NS for the inaugural Summer 3v3 Challenge for U14 and U16 players.
The Summer 3v3 Challenge is all about having fun, playing fair, and ensuring that everyone gets a great experience on the ice. We encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect for all players.
This tournament requires three (3) teams in a single division to host that division (3 x U14 teams and 3 x U16 teams).
🥅 Players moving age divisions in 2026-27 have the option to play in the same or higher age division as they played during the 2025-2026 ringette season (i.e. a player who played U14 in 2025-26 but is moving to U16 in 2026-27 can register to play in either U14 or U16 for this 3v3 Challenge).
🥅 Teams will have a maximum of 10 players per roster (either 9 skaters + 1 goalie or 8 skaters + 2 goalies).
The tournament organizing committee will honour at least ONE friend request per player and make every effort to place these friend duos together!
Teams will be formed by Ringette NS to be as balanced as possible to facilitate fun and meaningful competition for all participants.
Two (2) guaranteed round robin games/team, and a 3rd game for the top 2 teams after round-robin play. NOTE: playing time for the Challenge games is 40 minutes (4 x 10 minutes) plus any additional time for penalty shots, rather than the standard playing time for league games of 30 minutes (2 x 15 minutes).
Fee to participate is $85/player.
🥅 Players are welcome and encourage to bring snacks and lunch and remain with their teammates and coaches for some activities during the day. Details on drop off and pick up process for players opting to remain at CHP will be communicated prior to the Challenge.
