Summer hours have come to an end so please don't forget that we are open tonight for classes.
Children's class is from 615-7pm for ages 5-9 if the children are not with parents training together.
Advanced class is focused around yellow and green belt but white and yellow stripes may attend for extra practice.

September Newsletter

September 1st, 2026

Another beautiful Nova Scotia summer is coming to an end.
Back to school and life returning to normal.
Time to get back to training and working toward your goals this year.
Each year you train you are bettering your fitness, confidence and it's also good for the brain as well with the concentration it requires.

Class Times:
We are returning to our full schedule on September 8th.

Private lessons:

We are pleased to announce that we are offering private lessons for any students needing a little extra help or a tune up before a grading or tournament.
Please check with the office if you would like one at anytime.

Closures:

We will be closed on Monday September 7th for Labour Day.
September 30th we will be closed however that will be our testing night.

Testing:

Testing this month will be on Wednesday September 30th starting at 5pm.

Tournaments and Seminars:

With tournaments coming up we will be dedicating Saturday classes to tournament training. You do not have to go to tournaments to attend these classes. They will be focused on pattern and sparring development which all students benefit from.

Welcome to our beautiful month of August.

We are heading back to the normal life schedule with school coming for another year. I am impressed this year with the overall numbers in the classes this summer. Great job!!!

If you keep up your training you will increase your chances of becoming a Black Belt some day.

Monday and Thursday:

Beginner Family 6:15-7:15pm

Advanced 7:30-8:30pm



Saturday:

Advanced 9-10am

Beginner and family 10:15-11:15am

Testing at 8am tomorrow morning.

Tonight I will be coming in as my secretaries are on vacation.
This gives me an opportunity to do some testings for anyone that would rather grade tonight then Saturday morning.
I will arrive at 5 tonight so anytime there forward is good.

Please remember that our summer hours start tonight. Young students that train in the first class Tuesday nights should attend the first class tonight from 615-715pm. Same hours on Thursday.

Adult and Green belts and above should consider the 2nd class from 730-830pm on those nights.

There is no change on Saturday mornings.
