Hoping for an easy all in one program for your crew? Same time, same day, same space for your kids who span across a few age groups? Something for boys and girls? Consider our Intro to Cheer. Because cheer needs multiple body types and sizes within a squad to carry out the fun-filled skills required in cheer, multiple ages work great!

Intro to Cheer is offered Tuesdays after school at 4 pm or Saturday mornings. Check out our registration page or message for more details. Starts next week!

Flip, Play Move times have been added by request. This daytime programming is perfect for parents seeking an action-packed class that combines gymnastics, group games, obstacle courses, and creative movement activities. Participants will build strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, and confidence while developing teamwork, social skills, and a love for staying active. With a mix of structured instruction and fun, engaging games, every class offers new challenges in a safe, supportive, and energetic environment. This class is appropriate for ages 3+. Bring a nut free snack and water and get ready to have a blast.

Friends of Haliburton Gymnastics, Im hoping to shed some light on our Occupancy Load set by Dysart and the Building Inspector. It is currently set at Max load occupancy of 35.

We have every intention of increasing this capacity in the near future, but it will require a new septic system upgrade. This will be our next fundraising effort or it will hopefully come from grant funding.

So far the max student load we have set is 8 athletes per coach, and three classes of 8 during a single hour. We are doing things to accommodate, such as opening the garage door for outdoor parent viewing when weather permits and keeping classes small and as spread out as possible. This really only affects two hours of the week so far.

Now that the gym is open, my energy is being directed toward coaching, scheduling and day to day management and less on fundraising.

As such, we are seeking parents to help with fundraising efforts, and to form an official Haliburton Gymnastics Fundraising committee whose first priority is to fund our new septic to increase our load capacity. If this may interest you, please message me.

We are also seeking quotes from septic system companies who will consider nonprofit prices.

Although our load capacity isn’t ideal, we are making every effort to minimize its effects on our mission, to provide accessible high calibre gymnastics and fitness programs to Haliburton children and youth.

It’s the last All levels Adult Gym drop in tonight (Friday) at 6:30 pm before we move to our registered 14 week programming for adult beginner and adult intermediate.

Come out and give us a try. Register for your drop in on our registration page under Adult Beginner Gymnastics (but tonight’s class will be modified by the skill level in the room).

PS Bonus points if you can give me a better Adult Gymnastics Pic tonight for my posts 😬.

We are seeking helping hands between Sept 7-Sept 12 to help with our finishing touches before our session 1 start. We are looking for volunteer painters for our drywall (primer and paint), help hanging mirrors, washroom accessories, hooks and coat racks, and help facing our bouldering wall.
