If you ask any Kandalorian about the heart of their summer, they’ll point to a lake, a paddle, and a map spread out on the rocks. Every single one of our campers goes on a canoe trip because we believe true growth happens when you step out of your comfort zone and into the wild.
On trip, the noise of the world fades away. In a society that constantly asks young people to be "on," nature offers something rare: room to breathe, reflect, and just be.
Our tripping program grows right alongside your camper. It starts with an overnight close to camp, building year after year into the grit, confidence, and camaraderie of a 26-day whitewater expedition.
Trip isn't always easy, and that’s the magic of it. It’s digging deep when the wind picks up across the lake. It’s carrying a portage pack together, sharing a hot meal cooked over an open fire, and realizing that you are capable of so much more than you ever imagined. Out on the water, surrounded by towering pines and quiet starry nights, campers learn to lean on each other and trust themselves.
The blisters heal and the mud washes off, but the resilience, deep connection to nature, and lifelong friendships? Those stay with you forever.
