A Sir Sam’s chairlift is a special place. It invites conversations with strangers, turns strangers into friends, has probably sparked more than one romance, and provides valuable binding time for families.
As we bid farewell a few weekends back to our old double chairs, there may have been a slight teariness in our eyes as we watched them go. Touched that so many of you shared our affection for these pieces of Sir Sam’s history, and grateful that across Ontario they would carry on the role they so capably performed here of bringing people together in ways only a chairlift can.
