If you're 35+ and just not feeling like yourself lately, you're not imagining it.

Things are changing.

The workouts that used to work don't seem to have the same effect.
Your energy feels different.
Your mood feels different.
Your body feels different.

I spent years in my 30s wondering what was going on.

Itchy ears.
Random moments where I thought, "Do I have a fever?"
Weird aches and pains in my tailbone, jaw, and other places that seemed to come out of nowhere.
An unpredictable menstrual cycles.
And one month long cycle...

Even my doctor was concerned. 😒

Not once was perimenopause mentioned.

Thankfully, I'm a bit of an anatomy nerd.
A "What's my body doing?" nerd.
A "What can I do to help myself?" nerd.

That curiosity led me to learn everything I could about perimenopause and post-menopause. I wanted to understand what was happening in my body and what I could do to support it.

What I discovered is that perimenopause can affect so much more than your cycle.

It can impact your body, mind, relationships, work life, family life, sleep, energy, and confidence.

The good news?

You don't have to figure it out alone.

Not only have I lived through this journey myself, but I've also completed specialized training in perimenopause and post-menopause and have tools that can help you better understand what's happening.

Because sometimes the biggest relief is realizing:
✔️ You're not crazy.
✔️ You're not lazy.
✔️ You're not broken.
✔️ You're not alone.

If you're wondering whether your symptoms could be related to perimenopause, I offer a Perimenopause Audit designed to help connect the dots and give you practical next steps.

Your body LOVES variety ⚡🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️

This workout isn’t really about the bike… or the treadmill.
It’s about disrupting steady state.

Translation? 👇
Instead of staying at one speed the entire workout, you alternate between pushing and recovering.

That change in intensity can help:
🔥 Challenge your cardiovascular system
🔥 Improve endurance
🔥 Support metabolism
🔥 Build recovery capacity
🔥 Prevent workout boredom
🔥 Wake your body up from “auto-pilot mode”

And the best part?
You can do this almost ANYWHERE:

🚴 Bike
🏃 Walk/run
🚶 Incline treadmill
⛰ Hills
🚣 Rowing machine
🏊 Pool intervals
💃 Dance cardio
🚶‍♀️ Even outdoor walking with power bursts

It’s less about the equipment…
and more about changing gears intentionally ⚙️

You don’t have to crush yourself either.
Your “sprint” is relative to YOUR fitness level.

For one person, that may look like running.
For another, it may simply mean walking faster and pumping the arms.

Fitness isn’t one-size-fits-all.
The magic is in challenging your body safely and consistently 💚

Who prefers interval-style workouts over long steady cardio? 👇🔥

Your bathroom shelf is basically a “quiet chemistry lab”… and most of us never signed up for the experiment 🧪✨
When it comes to beauty products + peri/menopause, your skin is already more reactive, more sensitive, and a little more “no thanks” to extra irritation. So what you put on it matters just as much as what you eat.
Here’s your simple label sweep:
🧴 Group your products by category
(cleanser, moisturizer, body lotion, makeup, hair care)
🌸 Scan for synthetic fragrances

“parfum” or “fragrance” = mystery cocktail

often linked with irritation for sensitive, shifting hormones

🛢️ Watch for petroleum-derived ingredients

mineral oil, petrolatum, paraffin

can feel “smooth” but may not always support skin function

🚨 Red flag ingredients to spot quickly

parabens (preservatives)

phthalates (often hidden in fragrance)

sulfates (harsh foaming agents)

Think of it less like perfection… and more like “what am I layering on my body every single day?”
Small swaps = less irritation load = happier skin in a hormonally changing season 🌿
👉 Call to action:
Pick ONE product in your bathroom today and flip it over.
If you spot any of the red flags, don’t panic—just take a screenshot and start your “swap list.”
If you want, I can help you build a simple menopause-friendly skincare checklist or “clean swap guide” so you’re not decoding labels alone 💫

🌟 Understanding Lipedema: A Journey of Discovery 🌟

Hey everyone! I want to take a moment to share something that I’ve recently learned about and feel passionate about bringing to light: lipedema.

For a long time, I had no idea this condition even existed, and I realized I wasn’t alone. Many in the fitness community are unaware of it, too. Lipedema primarily affects women, particularly those in perimenopause and post-menopause, and it can significantly impact both physical and emotional well-being.

What is Lipedema?
Lipedema is a chronic condition characterized by an abnormal buildup of fat in the legs, arms, and other areas. It often goes unrecognized, leading to frustration and confusion for those who experience it.

Why This Matters
Understanding lipedema is crucial for women navigating hormonal changes and body image issues during perimenopause and post-menopause. It’s not just about weight or fitness; it’s about recognizing our bodies and advocating for our health.

I want you to know that you’re not alone in this journey. I empathize with what you might be feeling and encourage you to learn more about lipedema

Tiny foods. Big nutrition 🌱🥜
Chia seeds and walnuts may be small… but they pack a pretty impressive punch when it comes to supporting overall health and inflammation balance.
WHY THEY’RE SO POWERFUL 👇
🌱 Chia Seeds
• High in fibre
• Help support digestion
• Can help keep you fuller longer
• Provide plant-based omega-3s
• Support steady energy
🥜 Walnuts
• Rich in healthy fats
• Contain antioxidants
• Support brain and heart health
• May help support a healthy inflammatory response
Together?
They’re like the wellness version of a power duo 🎸✨
Easy ways to use them:
✔ Add to oatmeal
✔ Toss into smoothies
✔ Sprinkle on yogurt
✔ Add to salads
✔ Mix into energy bites
Healthy habits don’t always need to be complicated.
Sometimes support starts with the little things you add consistently 💚
What’s your favourite way to use chia or walnuts? 👇

This workout is a great reminder that cardio doesn’t have to mean long, boring, soul-leaving-the-body sessions staring at a wall clock 😅⏱️

This style of training uses intervals:
periods of higher effort followed by recovery.

Why that matters 👇

🚴 Higher effort pushes your cardiovascular system
💨 Recovery periods help train your body to bounce back efficiently
⚡ The constant change in intensity keeps your body engaged instead of cruising on autopilot

And here’s the important part:
the recovery IS part of the workout.

So many people think they have to go hard the entire time to “count.”
But your body actually adapts during the recovery phases too 💚

This type of workout may help:
✨ Improve endurance
✨ Support heart health
✨ Build stamina
✨ Support metabolism
✨ Add variety to cardio
✨ Make workouts feel faster mentally

And remember:
“High resistance” and “max effort” are personal.

Your version may look completely different from someone else’s… and that’s exactly how it should be 👏

Progress isn’t about punishment.
It’s about giving your body reasons to grow stronger over time 🌿

Would you rather do intervals or steady cardio? 👇🔥
