As we end another season of bear viewing in the wilderness of British Columbia, it breaks my heart to send portions of our Conservation Fee to Libearty Sanctuary in Romania, where they offer compassionate care and sanctuary to formerly captive brown bears of Eastern Europe. Each year Kynoch adventures supports this facility to provide empathy and compasion to these troubled bears that have been captive for most of their lives. It is not a solution or an option for rehabilitation, these bears cannot be rehabilitated, the human damage has been done. But they are offered an opportunity to live their remaining days and years with compasion and dignity. ❤️
