Guelph Minor Softball Association is proud to have donated 600 pounds of softball equipment to help support youth softball in the Dominican Republic! 🇨🇦❤️🇩🇴

Our donation included boxes of jerseys, pants, catcher’s gear, bats, gloves, balls and other softball equipment, all of which made their way to the community of Loma de los Chivos near Sosua, Puerto Plata.

The equipment will help support a new youth softball league and give local kids the opportunity to get on the field, learn the game and experience everything that makes softball so special. 🥎

We’re incredibly proud that equipment from our GMSA community can have an impact thousands of kilometres away.

600+ pounds of equipment. Countless opportunities. One game that brings us together. ❤️

U15 BLUE — ONE ROSTER SPOT AVAILABLE!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our U15 Blue Guelph Gators are looking to add one more player to complete an already strong 12-player roster!

We’re looking for a strong middle-of-the-field player who can play SS, 2B and/or CF and is ready to join a team focused on development, competition, teamwork, and having fun along the way.

This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team culture, continue developing both on and off the field, and be part of something special for the 2027 season!

COACH APPRECIATION WEEK

This week, we’re celebrating the incredible coaches who give so much of themselves to the Guelph Gators! ❤️💙

To our Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Rep Coaches, Select Coaches, and House League Coaches — THANK YOU!

Coaching is so much more than showing up on game day. It’s the countless hours spent planning practices, organizing teams, teaching skills, encouraging athletes, celebrating successes, working through challenges, and being there for our players all season long.

Your dedication, patience, passion, and commitment help our athletes grow not only as softball players, but as teammates, leaders, and confident young people.
So much of what our coaches do happens behind the scenes, and we want you to know that your hard work does not go unnoticed.

Thank you for volunteering your time, sharing your knowledge, believing in our athletes, and helping make the Guelph Gators community what it is.

Happy Coach Appreciation Week! We appreciate you more than you know! ❤️ Cam Guthrie

Ever wonder who’s behind the scenes keeping the Gators rolling?

Meet President Jessica Black & Vice President Sarah Rosianna — usually somewhere between answering emails, planning, organizing, solving problems, attending meetings, answering more emails 😂 and saying, “Okay… how can we make this even better for the kids?”

But here’s the important part — we definitely don’t do it alone. 💙

The Guelph Gators are powered by an incredible group of board members, coaches, convenors, volunteers, parents and supporters who give their time, energy and talents to help make this association what it is. So much happens behind the scenes that people may never see, and every single person who steps up makes a difference.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not about any one person. It’s about the kids.
It’s about creating opportunities for our athletes to play, learn, grow and belong. To build confidence, make friendships, learn what it means to be part of a team and hopefully fall in love with the game along the way.

There are lots of laughs, lots of teamwork, probably WAY too many group chats and emails — but one shared goal:
Keep making the Guelph Gators better for our athletes and families.

And since there are so many amazing people helping make it happen…

Gators association & volunteer shout-outs are coming soon! We can’t wait to introduce you to some of the people who help keep our Gators community going strong.

Stronger together. Always.

GATORS AT THE NEXT LEVEL!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate 11 Guelph Gators athletes who have been selected to continue their softball careers at the post-secondary level!

This is more than just the next chapter in their softball journey. It represents years of hard work, dedication, perseverance, early mornings, long practices, big games, tough losses, incredible wins and countless hours spent doing what they love.

To Chloe, Tegan, Jorgia, Isabella, Libby, Brooke, Marissa, Sydney, Aubrey, Isabella and Heysha — CONGRATULATIONS! ❤️💙

You have each left your mark on the Gators program, and now you get to take everything you’ve learned, the friendships you’ve made and your love of the game with you as you take this exciting next step.

We can’t wait to see what you accomplish — in the classroom, on the diamond and beyond. Keep working hard, keep believing in yourselves, and most importantly, keep loving the game.

Your Gators family will be cheering you on every step of the way!
Same passion. Bigger opportunities.
Once a Gator, always a Gator.

Congratulations, ladies — you’ve earned this!
