Well the Southern Canadian Classic has come and gone… and what an amazing weekend it was! We had a huge turnout for Royal City Bowmen members, some of which were able to shoot lights out and earn a spot in shoot downs and the podium! 🏹
First things first, the incredible ladies of Royal City shot amazing and clinched 3/5 spots in the Women’s Hunter Money class shoot downs.
Valarie Lafleur shot lights out and brought home her THIRD Women’s Hunter Gold🥇
Ashley Cidade who attended her first event ever and got her first podium finish in second place 🥈.
Congratulations to Cassie Harrison who shot her first ever shoot down, stayed compossed and finished 4th!
Men’s Hunter Money had a number of amazing scores. Royal city saw 2 members in the shoot downs.
Misha Koroscil whom shot his first shoot down, beat the shot clock with a second to spare twice. His final arrow was half a shaft away from a podium finish, placing him in 4th!
Johnny Jack no stranger to podium finishes, managed to snag third place 🥉. One week earlier, Johnny placed Second 🥈 at the Canadian National 3D Event hosted by Archers In Muskoka!
Remember the name of young Jaxson Way, an up and comer whom shot his first shoot off in the Cubs class finishing 4th, GREAT JOB JAXSON!!
Our Average Joe’s! Eric Martensson and Christian won the Southern Canadian Classic Average Joe Spot taking home some cash! Great shooting boys.
Shout out to our umbrella men Christian, Justin and Adam Harrison and Chris Lafleur, keeping us composed under pressure during shoot downs
And a HUGE THANKYOU to our hosts Bruno and Keri. Year after year they work their butts off to give everyone a weekend to remember, and year after year they crush it!
