So many wonderful memories began in this space — and, like life, some not-so-wonderful ones too.

That’s the beauty of community. The good, the messy, the joyful, and the bittersweet all become part of the story.

All we can really do is keep showing up and try to end each day, and each week, on a positive note. My dad used to say, “Aim for a 60/40 positive week. You’re likely to hit that number more often.”

And when you need a quick boost, sprinkling in a little Salsa dancing always helps.

For over 14 years, Friday Night Salsa Fix did exactly that for so many people. Every Friday, FNSF gave us a place to dance, laugh, connect, and create friendships that would last far beyond the dance floor.

Much like the Latin Fiestas at the Ebar, which ran from 2001 to 2015, FNSF will always be remembered as a place where beautiful friendships were born.

For that, I will always be grateful.
