Our very own, Cameron Oliver is heading to São Paulo, Brazil for the 2026 IBSA Blind Football American Championships! ⚽️

The tournament brings together teams from across North and South America, and this year marks the first-ever women’s edition of the competition! 🙌🎉

We’re incredibly excited for Cameron to experience and support such an important event for the growth of blind football and the women’s game.

As we close out the season, we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible people who make Guelph Soccer what it is! 🥳🎉

To our volunteers, coaches, summer staff, and referees, thank you for the time, energy, knowledge, and care you give to our players and our club. Whether you’re leading a team, running a session, officiating a game, supporting behind the scenes, or simply stepping in wherever needed, your contributions make a difference every day.
 
We know how much goes into making a season successful, and we truly appreciate everything you do for our players and families. We couldn’t do it without you!

What a way to wrap up the season! Our U12 Guelph Jr. Gryphons Red team travelled to Michigan this weekend for the REDS Invitational and finished the tournament undefeated, bringing home the gold medal! 🥇👏

For our final Teams of the Month feature of the season, we are excited to recognize two teams who have demonstrated outstanding dedication, teamwork, and commitment throughout the 2026 outdoor season.
 
🏆 Boys U15 – District Team (Black)
The Boys U15 team has continued to build on an incredible run from last season. Their strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to one another have helped drive their success both individually and as a team. They continue to represent Guelph Soccer with pride and a true team-first mindset.
 
🏆 Girls U16 – Academy Team (Red)
The Girls U16 Academy team has shown tremendous dedication, resilience, and support for one another throughout the season. After a fourth place finish at the Canada Youth Cup and a run to the Ontario Cup Semi-Finals, the group has continued to push themselves, embrace challenges, and grow together throughout the season! 👏
 
Congratulations to both teams and their coaches on this well-deserved recognition! We are proud of everything you have accomplished this season and look forward to seeing what’s still ahead. 🎊🥳

⚽️🎉🌟TOURNAMENT HIGHLIGHTS🌟🎉⚽️

Our Boys U16 District team competed in the Heart of Caledon Tournament the weekend of August 15th and played extremely well.

The boys picked up two wins on Saturday before facing Georgetown on Sunday morning, where they fell just short in a 1–0 result. They had the opportunity to face Georgetown again in the championship final and this time, they came out on top with a convincing 2–0 victory to claim the title! CONGRATULATIONS BOYS🎊🥳👏
 
The team finished the tournament with 3 wins, 8 goals scored, and just 2 goals conceded, showing tremendous resilience and determination throughout the weekend.
 
Congratulations again on a well-deserved championship boys! 🏆
