Playoff game day! First pitch of the semi finals is tonight @7:15 in Peace River, come out and support the Huskies for a great evening of ball!

Games 1 and 2 are set for the second round. Come out to watch in Peace River on Wednesday the 16th for game 1, and Grimshaw for game 2 on Thursday the 17th! Both game times 7:15.

The Huskies are on to the semi finals!
With a 9-7 come from behind win in Sexsmith this afternoon, the Huskies have booked their tickets to a semi final series vs the Peace River Stampeders.
Down 6-2 in the 4th inning the Huskies scored 4 runs with a 2 out rally, capped by a 3-run home run by Karson Meier! After falling behind 7-6 the Huskies rallied again in the top of the 7th to erase the deficit and build a 2 run lead, and that was all that was needed to secure the victory.

7-2 game 1 win in the books for the Huskies! Ty Wiebe picked up the win going 6 innings giving up only 2 runs on 6 hits and no walks. Chaston Paul came on in the seventh to shut the door, picking up 3 strikeouts in the frame. Defensively, Cole Cardinal lead the way with 6 assists and 2 putouts. The Huskies were lead offensively by leadoff hitter Karson Meier, who had a triple and a single to go along with 3 RBI's.
Game 2 goes Sunday afternoon at 4 in Sexsmith.

The Huskies are getting ready for playoff baseball!
Game 1 vs the Sexsmith Rainiers takes place Thursday July 10, with first pitch scheduled for 7:15PM. Come out and cheer on the team as they start their playoff journey!!
The first round is a best of 3, with game 2 scheduled for Sunday @4 in Sexsmith. Game 3 date is TBD.

With a victory last night in Sexsmith the Huskies have finished their regular season with a 7-5 record, good for third place in the Wheatbelt!
The regular season is scheduled to finish this weekend, with playoffs starting next week.
With the third place finish the Huskies await the winner of the 6v7 wildcard game.
Once the schedule is set for the first round we will be sure to post an update!

Today's double header vs Sexsmith has been postponed. Dates to be determined.
Tuesday's home game vs Peace River has been rescheduled to Monday @ 7:15.

Walk off win! Cole Cardinal came up with a huge hit in the bottom of the seventh to walk it off, driving in 2 runs to put the Huskies up 10-9 after the Huskies had fallen behind 8-2 early in the game. The comeback win moves the Huskies to 3-2 on the season, with the next scheduled game this Wednesday in Clairmont vs the Brewers.
