A little recap from this past weekend as there was a lot going on.

Congratulations to Mathew Urbanski and the Bitemetoo team on winning the final Salmon Tournament of the season, the Bronte Classic presented by the HRSTA Club. See attached scoreboard

Also out of Nanticoke was the Fall Frenzy, which was won by Team Fish Hound. See attached scores.

In Port Dalhousie the St. Catharines Game & Fish Association had their big Kids Summer Derby Celebration & Fifty Point Conservation Area the Strait Line Anglers Club had their Kids Fishing workshop.

It's great to see all the anglers of all ages & their families out fishing together enjoying the great weather. We're proud to support all of the great events & the groups that put them on!

Fishing report from last night. Went out about 4:30 out to 115’ of water. Got a tip from a customer 250’ was good in the morning. Trolled out past out last hot spot with no action there and in 220 feet of water the rods started to fire. Riggers down 55 and 65, with sliders. Sliders took most fish but a 7 colour as well as a 6 colour leadcore took fish as well. Ended up 7 rainbows one 14 lb king that was very dark, a lake trout and some shaker Princes. Even had a two in one as a bottom spoon on the rigger as well as the slider had a fish on each spoon. 8lb Rainbow and a little Prince. Good stuff. Kept a few Rainbows, a King and the little prince as he was hooked right through his head and wouldn’t have survived. Great night with Landon! Get out there folks. It’s great !!
