Some what of a confusing day. Weather buoy in Grimsby is out to lunch, saying winds are east 6-7 mph. Weather network says 3-5 mph northwest. It’s more of a west wind but a bit southwest as well with lots of white caps out in the lake. So about 13-15 mph. Enjoy you day.

Went out this morning with a good friend and searched high and low for some King action. All the way out to 170 fow. Too...

Went out this morning with a good friend and searched high and low for some King action. All the way out to 170 fow. Took a good shot on a rigger 50’ down but he decided spending time in the boat with us was not his intended desire today. Trolled all the way back in to 60’ ish and finally succumbed to the hooks on the bottom as my buddy kept asking “why don’t we try catch them”?
So I put a ball 4’ off the bottom and I don’t think that spoon washed for more than 4 minutes and guess who came up with a surprised look on its Face…., Yup Larry the Lake trout. We got several as well as a foul hooked Brown trout that buddy almost lost his left arm to pulling it in, ha ha. Any way no good report, but we had lots of laughs and the Lakers played along to save what would have been a dismal King outing. I know I know. The gill grip😎. Cheers folks.
