Our mission is to provide accessible opportunities for riders of all levels—whether English or Western—to learn, grow, and compete without having to travel far from home. Through a mix of virtual shows, in-person competitions, clinics, and educatio

nal events, NODA creates a welcoming space where riders can set goals, celebrate achievements, and connect with a supportive equestrian community. The Northern Ontario Dressage Association is excited to announce that our Thunder Bay Dressage Schooling Show on July 18, 2026 will now be held at the Murillo Fairgrounds!

A huge thank you to everyone for your patience while our judge works through all of the entries. The remaining tests are still being completed, and I'll send them out as soon as I receive them.

Feeling those pre-show butterflies? You're not alone! Even experienced riders get nervous before entering at A. The key isn't eliminating nerves—it's learning how to manage them. ✨

Here are a few simple tips:

🌟 Prepare Ahead – Pack early, review your test, and make a checklist. Being organized helps build confidence.

🌟 Focus on Your Horse – Instead of worrying about scores or placings, concentrate on giving your horse a positive, supportive ride.

🌟 Breathe – A few slow, deep breaths can help settle both you and your horse.

🌟 Visualize Success – Take a moment to picture yourself riding a calm, accurate test before you enter the ring.

🌟 Remember Why You Ride – Dressage is a journey. Every test is an opportunity to learn, improve, and enjoy time with your horse.

💕 Most importantly, be kind to yourself. Your horse doesn't care about ribbons or percentages—they care that you're there with them.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who entered our NODA Barbie Virtual Dressage Show! We received almost **80 video submissions**, making this one of our biggest virtual shows yet! 🐴✨
