I turned 24 yesterday… and this year changed me in ways I didn’t expect 🤍
24 things I’ve learned since turning 24:
1. Changing your plans is okay and can actually be really exciting
2. Buying a house is way more stressful than it is fun
3. I’ve learned more about money this year than ever before
4. Not having your “group” yet is okay
5. I actually enjoy my own company
6. Reading can be something you want to do, not something you have to do
7. Rest is productive
8. You don’t need to have everything figured out to be on the right path
9. The people who are meant for you will feel easy, not confusing
10. It’s okay to outgrow people, places, and routines
11. Discipline will take you further than motivation ever will
12. Saying no is a form of self-respect
13. You can be both grateful and still want more
14. Movement is about feeling good, not looking a certain way
15. Your body is allowed to change and being skinny is not the goal!!!
16. Unlearning a lifetime of body image thoughts takes time, and I’m still in it
17. Small habits shape your life more than big moments do
18. You don’t need to rush your timeline to match anyone else’s
19. Trying new things is uncomfortable but that’s where the magic is
20. Protecting your energy is important
21. Confidence comes from doing, not waiting
22. Learning to teach yoga and fitness classes showed me that you don’t need to feel “ready” to start you just have to begin
23. Starting a business will stretch you in every way, but it’s one of the most rewarding things you can do
24. Everything feels overwhelming when you’re tired, rest is so important
24 feels like a year of becoming… and I’m just getting started ✨
