The Coppa Caruso, hosted in partnership with the Sudburnia Soccer Club and the Caruso Club - Società Caruso, returns to Greater Sudbury August 14-16., 2026.

The tournament features U10 - U16 Youth Divisions along with Women's Open, Men's Open, Over 35 and Over 45 Divisions.

The Sudbury Regional Competitive Soccer League (SRCSL) is proud to present its "SRCSL Open Skills Invitational Sessions" sponsored by SRCSL alumnus Mario Anselmo, bringing the local soccer community together to celebrate a shared passion for the Beautiful Game.

The Ages 4-8 Session runs this Saturday, June 20th at James Jerome Turf Field from 9am - 1pm.

Participants will receive refreshments and a complimentary branded t-shirt.

Early Standings Update for the Over 50 Division. Nickel City Lasers find themselves atop the table after back-to-back wins to start the season.

A rejuvenated Gary Choy leads the early season goal scoring race with four goals for Sudbury Athletics.

SRSCL Over 40 and Over 50 teams are back in action tonight starting at 6pm at James Jerome Sports Complex.

The Over 50 Division plays at 6pm followed the Over 40 Division teams at 7pm and 8pm.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: SRCSL TO HOST YOUTH SOCCER SESSIONS THIS SUMMER

The Sudbury Regional Competitive Soccer League (SRCSL) is proud to present its "SRCSL Open Skills Invitational Sessions" sponsored by SRCSL alumnus Mario Anselmo, bringing the local soccer community together to celebrate a shared passion for the Beautiful Game.
This summer, two sessions will be offered at James Jerome Turf:
• June 20, 2026 (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM) for youth ages 4–8
• August 23, 2026 (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM) for youth ages 9–13

Each session will be capped at 85 participants and will be delivered in collaboration with coaches from clubs and leagues across Greater Sudbury.

Driven by Mario’s commitment to growing the game, these sessions are designed to be fully accessible and free of charge, ensuring that all young athletes, especially those who may face financial barriers, have the opportunity to learn new skills, stay active, and enjoy soccer in a fun and supportive environment.

Registration will be first come, first served based on field capacity, so families are encouraged to sign up early to secure a spot.

“The SRCSL has a long-standing history in Sudbury and the opportunity to engage with one of its alumni to offer soccer programming to local youth is an important initiative for us, especially during a World Cup year,” explained Chris Anselmo, Treasurer for the SRCSL. “This partnership allows the league to promote its past while working to encourage the next generation of players who will hopefully find their way to its senior divisions.:
