As the 2024-25 curling season comes to a close, we want to share that Team Toner will be heading in new directions.

Mia has wrapped up her junior career and will be moving on to compete in women's curling. Dayna has returned home to Manitoba to pursue junior opportunities in her home province. Justine and Sam are both still eligible for juniors and are continuing to curl within Ontario.

We've had an amazing year together, highlighted by our trip to PEl for the U20 Nationals. Thank you all for your support — it's been an incredible experience representing Sudbury and Northern Ontario!

U20 Nationals recap

We are truly honoured to have had the privilege of representing Northern Ontario at the 2025 New Holland Canadian Under-20 Curling Championship. There are a lot of people to thank so here goes:

Thank you to the city of Summerside, PEI and the many staff and volunteers at Credit Union Place and the Summerside Curling Club at the Silver Fox Entertainment Complex. Thank you to the folks from Curling Canada, the ice makers and technicians, the scorekeepers, the umpires and many others. You made this an experience we will always cherish.

Thank you to our parents and family that travelled across many provinces to cheer us on loud and proud at every game. Hearing that iconic moose call ring through the arena is epic

Thank you to our coach - Lee Toner. You believe in us, you guide us and you challenge us. We are truly blessed to have a coach that invests so much time and thought into helping us grow individually and as a team.

Less than one week until we head to Summerside, PEI for the New Holland Canadian Juniors! We are so excited and proud to represent Northern Ontario at such a high level. We have worked hard for this and we are ready!

We will post scores on both of our team pages, and you can follow the scores at curling.ca. Curling Canada will be live streaming on one sheet, otherwise we will be streaming our games on our page.
