Our Learn to Speed Skate program starts September 9th! There are a few spots remaining if you forgot to register. Skate fittings are Tuesday, Sept 1 and Wednesday, Sept 2nd at the Hall of Fame at Gerry McCrory Countryside Arena. Used and new equipment for sale as well. See you there!

We thank HP Home Design for their support towards the club's safety equipment and towards the expenses of hosting meets. We appreciate it immensely!

A small design studio for Ontario custom homes and cottages. We take on a limited number of projects a year, each one designed from scratch for its site and its owners. Message us to book a free consultation.

It's that time of year!
Registration for our Learn to Speed Skate Program is posted on our website. Join us in September for this fun four-session program!

Cost: $70
Ages: 5+, including adults
Where: Countryside Arena, Ice Pad 1
Requirements: Ability to skate and get up after a fall autonomously

Registrations will be accepted until August 31st, 2026.
After August 31st, email [email protected] to see if there is capacity to accept additional skaters.

Congratulations to Simoné T, and Mercia T. on their performances at the Canadian Youth Short Track Championships East! Thank you Darthmouth Crossing Speed Skating Club, Speed Skating Nova Scotia and Speed Skating Canada for hosting!

In the Girls 12Y, Simoné T. finished 5th in the 400m and 800m Finals A, and 7th overall. 🎉

In the Girls 13Y, Mercia T. raced to PBs in all her distances! 🎉

This was the final competition of our season. The Sprinters have raced in over 20 Regional, Provincial, Elite and National Meets this season. Goals were set, met and surpassed!

Enjoy the off-season, Sprinters, and see you at the rink in August for skate fittings!

Congratulations, Simoné T. (Girls, 12Y) and Mercia T. (Girls, 13Y) for your selection to Team Ontario for the Canadian Youth Short Track Speed Skating Championships - East! Simoné and Mercia will be competing against the top skaters from eastern Canada in Darthmouth, N.S. this weekend.

We will be cheering from Sudbury!
