2025 has been an absolute whirlwind of a season
Founding this spring with and and installing the Twin Stacks disc golf course was a huge undertaking. This has been years in the making and I cannot express how grateful I am to Twin Stacks for their generosity. The amount of work everyone did behind the scenes including literally hundreds of hours of manual labour, grant applications, fundraising, meetings, and tournament prep cannot be described in words.
On top of all of it, I competed in 20 PDGA events, with 4 pro wins, and reached a new career high of 990 before succumbing to injury. Toward the end of the season, my body just had nothing left to give.
Very proud to have TD’d our first PDGA sanctioned tournament this November: The Nickel City Open - Presented by Twin Stacks. This was Sudbury’s first ever B tier and by far the biggest disc golf event the city has ever seen. Congrats to .dg for the big win on what might be one of the hardest courses in Ontario! I am proud to have capped off the season with another 1000 rated event all while dealing with the added stress of TD’ing simultaneously.
Working towards building this event into one of the premier tournaments in the province moving forward so stay tuned!
I would like to thank my sponsors .ca for supporting me as an athlete, course designer and tournament director. You having my back made all of this possible. Also big thanks to and for all of the encouragement and digging deep for me all year. You guys really kept me going!
Shout out to .discgolf and .yeoh for keeping me and the course looking sharp.
Now I can finally rest and recover. I’ll be working hard this off-season to rehab and build strength to attack the course in the spring. 2026 is going to be a big year!
