🏁 WE’RE BACK AT IT THIS WEEKEND! 🏁

After an exciting Race #2, we’re right back on track for the second half of our back-to-back race weekends! 🔥🏎️💨

This weekend also marks our annual Father’s Day Race, and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than spending the day at the track with family, friends, and our incredible karting community. 👨‍👧‍👦🏁

The 2026 Technica Mining Karting Championship continues this weekend at Sudbury Kartways, and if the first two rounds are any indication, we’re in for another fantastic day of racing. We’ve already seen incredibly close battles, exciting passes, new faces finding their way onto the podium, and plenty of memorable moments across all of our classes. 👏🏆

As the championship begins to take shape, every lap, every position, and every point matters. Will our current front-runners continue their momentum, or will we see some new names standing on the podium this weekend? 👀

☀️🏁 Another great day of racing at Sudbury Kartways! 🏁☀️

Race #2 of the 2026 Technica Mining Karting Championship is in the books, and despite the cool temperatures, the sunshine made for excellent racing conditions all day long.

Our Kid Kart drivers logged plenty of laps and continued building their skills, while the Junior and Senior classes delivered exciting battles throughout the field. We also saw some new faces on the Junior podium and another action-packed day in the ever-growing Senior class! 🏎️💨

A huge thank you to all of our volunteers, officials, competitors, and families who helped make the event another success. 👏

🏁 RACE #2 IS HERE! 🏁

What a way to kick off the 2026 season! 🔥 Race #1 delivered everything we could have asked for: close racing, exciting battles throughout the field, a little bit of chaos, and even some first-time podium finishers standing on the box for the very first time! 👏🏆

Now the Technica Mining Karting Championship heads into Round 2 at Sudbury Kartways, and the competition is only heating up. With championship points on the line and confidence growing across every class, we’re expecting another fantastic day of racing. 🏎️💨

From our youngest drivers in Kid Kart to our seasoned veterans battling for championship glory, every lap matters and every position will be hard fought. Who will continue their momentum from Race #1? Who will climb onto the podium for the first time? And what surprises does Race #2 have in store? 👀

🏁 What a fantastic way to kick off the 2026 Technica Mining Karting Championship season! 🏁

This weekend, Sudbury Kart Club welcomed racers and families to Sudbury Kartways for Round 1 of the championship. From our youngest drivers in Kid Kart 🏎️ to the Junior and Senior classes, we saw exciting racing, first race starts, first podiums 🏆, and plenty of memorable moments throughout the day.

A huge thank you goes out to all of our volunteers 👏 who helped make the event a success. Events like these simply wouldn’t happen without your dedication. We’d also like to thank our event sponsor, Continental Insulation, for supporting grassroots motorsports in Northern Ontario. 🙌

Training Day is THIS Saturday — and it’s go time 🏁

We’re kicking off the season with our mandatory Training Day for all Kid Kart and first-year drivers. For many of you, this won’t just be your first laps of the season — it’ll be your first time on track, period. That means lots to learn and a great opportunity to build strong habits right from the start.

🚨 Training Day is Almost Here! 🚨

Next weekend, we kick things off bright and early at 8:00 AM for our official Training Day — and this is where the season really starts to come together.

We’ve got a full day planned with both in-class sessions and on-track time, giving drivers everything they need to hit the ground running.

👊 Mandatory attendance for Kid Kart, Cadet, and all first-year racers — no exceptions!

It might not be quite as intense as Training Day with Denzel Washington… but we still expect drivers to show up focused, dialed in, and ready to learn.

Bring your gear, bring your questions, and bring your A-game — let’s get after it! 🏁🔥

We’ve made some updates to our Supplementary Regulations, including the addition of approved accessories.

All members are asked to review the updated regulations and ensure their equipment is fully compliant for the season.

Winter racing just got a whole lot more… interesting ❄️🏁

Due to the “completely reasonable” amount of snowfall this year, we’re rolling out our brand new Snow Tire Compound for all classes. Studs, warm-up laps, and maybe even skis… what could go wrong? 😅
