For our event, money raised will go to the Flying Fathers, and to a local charity in town called, Free Stuff 4 Daily Needs. This is a Jesus-birthed ministry that gives humanitarian aid in the form of everyday useful items, that range from clothes, to furnature, to food, to citizens in the community of Muskoka/Parry Sound and outlying regions.

Much like the founder of the Flying Fathers and former Stanley Cup Champion with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Father Les Costello, the Bukers with Free Stuff 4 Daily Needs help the poor. Whether it's a young single mother needing a crib for her newborn baby, or someone like Shania Twain in Timmins when she was the oldest of her siblings and had to care for them when their parents died in a car accident, the Flying Fathers in Timmins through Father Costello helped them out and all the poor in Timmins in need. In Gravenhurst, Free Stuff 4 Daily Needs are there for those who are going through a hard time in life, and need us to give them a loving hand to live a productive happy life.

If any fans are going to mass today, please say a prayer for the Muskoka Anglers. Because on Family Day, Monday, Feb. 17th, at 3pm, the Anglers will be taking on the Flying Fathers in a charity hockey game. Hearing all the stories about how these guys play.....Boy are we going to need them!!!

What do the Angler boys do after the 2 hr practice today you ask!!!!!. They go down to the town out door rink and play some pond hockey. The town of Gravenhurst has a great out door rink setup.
