We are now collecting registration interest for Summer 2026 private swim lessons at the Gravelbourg & District Aquaplex Centre!

☀️ June availability is limited
☀️ July & August schedules are more flexible
☀️ One form must be completed per participant
☀️ Private lessons are $120 for 4 lessons
☀️ Payment is not due until lesson times are confirmed

Aquaplex staff will begin contacting registered participants beginning the week of June 1 regarding scheduling and availability.

💲 $100 (1 day) | $175 (2 days)

⚠️ Minimum Swim Level 3 + must swim 25m independently

At this pool, this isn’t about pass or fail, it’s about meeting the expectation.

We don’t just show up or go through the motions. We train, we practice, and we hold (and are held to) a high standard every day.

This season, 4 of our guards completed their National Lifeguard recertification, meaning that since starting their journey they’ve completed the full pathway: Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, Standard First Aid & CPR-C + AED, National Lifeguard and all required recertifications. That’s about 100+ hours of formal training and for those who also chose to become instructors, that’s an additional ~40+ hours on top of it all.

The commitment these lifeguards show is outstanding, and it’s reflected every day at the Gravelbourg Aquaplex.

Hard work isn’t optional here—it’s the expectation.

The pool will NOT be open for this evening’s public swim.
The safety of our lifeguards is our top priority and with current travel conditions for staff heading home out of town, we are ensuring everyone can get home safely as soon as possible.

🌊 Swimming Lessons Update – Set #1 🌊

We’ve got some updates coming in hot (unlike whatever the heck is going on outside today. We are a week away from May… right? …I digress):

📌 Set #1 (Saturdays & Sundays):

Parent & Tot is almost full! Only 2 spots remaining 👀
We will definitely be running Preschool 1–5 and Swimmer 1–4
Still lots of space in Swimmer 5 through STAR

🏊‍♂️ Parents, this is your reminder that those “big kids” aren’t too cool for swim lessons. Swimmer 6 and up is where we build real confidence, real skills, and yes… real survival ability (dramatic, but accurate). Also, a morning swim is basically a parenting win before noon ☀️

Swimming lessons aren’t just something to keep kids busy—they’re a life skill, and we take safety, confidence, and the whole “please don’t panic in water” thing pretty seriously around here. 💦

⏳ Registration cutoff for Session 1 is April 30th.
