๐๐Try ๐ฅ๐จ๐๐๐ฌ for Grande Prairie Subaru Try-It Day on September 19th!
๐Played on a grass field with an oval ball, rugby players carry, pass or kick the ball across the field into the opponents end zone to score points. A game of continuous play boosts the cardiovascular endurance for athletes, travelling in all directions building spatial awareness and quick decision-making skills. Sportsmanship and respect are part of being on a rugby team.
๐This Try-It day session will be led by Grande Prairie Rugby at Macklin Field 10115 93 Street Grande Prairie. Wear clothes and footwear you can move and run in. Bring a water bottle to keep hydrated.
๐The Grande Prairie Rugby Football Club has been bringing rugby to the region since 1982. They have opportunities for kids of all ages, from U5 to U19 teams, as well as competitive teams for U17 & U19 players. Their athletes and coaches have competed for Zone 8 at the Alberta Summer Games and have gone on to represent Team Alberta at Nationals. For adults, thereโs the Sirenโs Women's Rugby and Centaurs Men's Rugby teams.
