🌿 A little reflection from the mat… 🌿

Lately, I’ve watched so many local businesses close their doors, and honestly, it’s been sitting heavy on my heart.

Behind every small business is a person. A family. A dream. Years of work, sacrifice, and courage.

I know times are hard. We’re all feeling this economy differently, and everyone is doing their best to keep their own families afloat.

But yoga reminds us of something important:

We are not separate. We are a whole. 🤍

Supporting local doesn’t always mean spending money.

Share a post.
Leave a review.
Recommend someone.
Pass that flyer to the next person instead of throwing it away.
Wear the local business merchandise someone worked hard to create.

These little things matter.

Because when a local business closes, we don’t just lose a storefront. We lose someone’s passion, creativity, gathering place, and dream.

So maybe yoga off the mat is asking ourselves:

Who can I lift up?
What can I give back?
How can I contribute to the whole?

We may not be able to save every business, but we can choose to create an energy that builds rather than takes.

Support local. Support family-owned. Support the people brave enough to build something of their own.

Community isn’t something we simply have.
It’s something we create together. 🌿

The next slide has just a few of the local business I love you should check them out. ✨🧚🏻

🌙✨ HI, I’M CAYLIN — LET’S GET REACQUAINTED ✨🌿

For the new faces wandering into this little corner of the world — welcome. 🤍

I’m Caylin.

Mama to two little wildlings, partner, daughter, outdoor wanderer, collector of far too many plants 🌱, lover of mountains, water, bare feet, deep breaths and finding little bits of magic in ordinary life.

I’m also a 225-hour trained yoga teacher and the proud resident yoga teacher tucked inside House of Merlin Emporium. 🔮🌿

Yoga and I have been on this adventure together for 10+ years — and through every strange, beautiful, messy season, it has been my rock.

Not because I’m perfectly disciplined.
Not because I always have it together.
And definitely not because I can magically balance my entire life. 😂

Yoga is simply where I keep finding my way back.

Back to my breath.
Back into my body.
Back outside of the noise.
Back to myself.

And that’s the kind of yoga I teach.

🌙 Slow, intentional movement
🌿 Deep breaths
✨ Reflection
🤍 Lots of support
🍃 And room to arrive exactly as you are

Monday Slow Flow | 6–7 PM

10-Class Pass • $108

But there’s another little dream growing around here… 🌱

We have a beautiful studio space, and I don’t want it to belong to just one teacher or one kind of practice.

I want to see it alive.

Yoga. Meditation. Movement. Workshops. Art. Creativity. Learning. Circles of people gathering to share something they love.

So, fellow teachers, creators, guides and wonderfully passionate humans — the studio is available to rent.

Bring your mats.
Bring your strange little idea.
Bring the thing you’ve been saying “one day I want to…” about.

There might just be room for it here. 🌙

I’m Caylin — still learning, still wandering, still collecting plants, still juggling motherhood and real life, and still rolling out my mat after 10+ years.

Come take up a little space with me. 🌿✨

I don’t teach yoga because I have life perfectly figured out. 🌿

I teach because I need these practices too.

I know what it’s like to be busy, overstimulated, tired and taking care of everyone else before remembering yourself.

Yoga gives us somewhere to come back to.

Not to be perfect. Not to perform.

Just to breathe, move and reconnect. 🤍

Our bodies are not trends.

Lately I’ve seen so many conversations swinging between glorifying being thin and criticizing being thin. Neither feels like the answer.

Some people struggle to lose weight. Others struggle to gain it. Some bodies are shaped by genetics, illness, medication, hormones, pregnancy, stress, or countless factors we can’t see. We rarely know someone’s story just by looking at them.

As a yoga teacher, I don’t believe health has one look.

I believe in nourishing your body, moving in ways that feel supportive, caring for your mental health, and treating yourself with kindness. Your worth isn’t measured by a number on a scale or by whether your body matches whatever is trending this season.

Let’s stop making bodies a competition.

Let’s stop assuming someone else’s body is easy, ideal, or something to judge.

Instead, let’s celebrate bodies for what they allow us to experience—to breathe, to heal, to grow, to carry us through every season of life.

Your body isn’t a trend.
It’s your home.

✨ Monday Rest & Restore Yoga Flow ✨

Join us Monday from 6:00–7:00 PM for an hour of gentle rest, breath, and presence.

Flow if you feel called, or simply come to rest and listen. There is no right way to be here.
Reset yourself in the stillness of
🧘 Balasana (Child’s Pose)
🛌 Savasana (Co**se Pose)

Move, breathe, settle, or simply receive.

A space to unwind, reset, and begin the week with a little more ease.

All are welcome. 💛

The polished version of me isn’t here today.

The vulnerability is real.

Here I am.

Not perfectly healed.
Not perfectly put together.
Just a woman learning to nourish herself again after years of giving pieces of herself away.

What follows is an honest piece of my journey—the struggles, the healing, and the becoming.

If any part of it resonates with you, I’d love to connect.

💛 Check the comments for a reflection and invitation.

Some days growth looks like fire and sweat—
other days, it looks like slowing all the way down.

Yoga teaches me to listen.
To breathe into the places that resist.
To meet myself where I am, not where I think I should be.

Tai Chi reminds me—slow is not weak.
Slow is controlled.
Slow is aware.
Slow is strength learning how to last.

Lately, I’m learning the details—
aware footwork, step by step,
feeling the ground instead of rushing past it.
A core that still needs work…
but strength has to start somewhere.

Training is coming.
Not perfect, not finished—just started.

I’m learning that becoming better
isn’t always loud or visible.
Sometimes it’s quiet balance,
steady breath,
and choosing to keep going gently.

Strong doesn’t always mean fast.
Strong can be soft.
Strong can be patient.
Strong can be me—right here, still growing.

“Let ’em say what they want…”

I’ll be here—
moving, learning, becoming.
