We had such a great time last weekend in our final event of the Season! We made top two in our pool and the Quarterfinals, ending in the top 8 out of 20 U18 Boys Teams from all over Canada!

We had some great games, and lots of fun playing some of our friends (Team Miller Curling, Team Bachek Curling, Team Stockdale) we have competed against all year in various Junior Curling Events!!

The Marc Kennedy Junior Classic is the best way to wrap up the Season! Huge thank-you to Marc and Nicole Kennedy who make this event so outstanding!!!

To Robert Sibbeston Jr. for supporting us through another event! We are so grateful for your incredible support and mentorship this year, you are the anchor of our Team!!

We are headed down the highway for our last event of the Season!!

So excited to kick things off at the Marc Kennedy Junior Classic!!!

Our first game against Team Bachek Curling starts at 4:30pm!!

What a special way to wrap our week in Whitehorse!! Our third Hyden is coming home with another SILVER🥈Ulu in Mixed Doubles with his partner Eva from Team Alaska! And our incredible Coach Robert Sibbeston Jr. was also presented with a Coaches FairPlay Pin last night! Way to go Robert!!

Hyden and Eva had one close final but could not snag the win for the Gold!! Super exciting though because the Gold in mixed doubles went to Team Alberta North Teammate, Kaelyn Jones (Team Maksymetz Curling)!! Way to go Kaelyn and Attticus Willkomm from Team Northwest Territories!!

Today we will pack and have some more fun up here in the North before the Closing Ceremonies and our flight back home to Grande Prairie!!!

Mixed Doubles Update!!

Hyden and his Mixed Doubles 🥌 Partner Eva Piehl (Team Alaska) are headed to the 🥇Gold Ulu game tonight at 7:00pm (8:00pm Alberta Time)!

Send Hyden and Eva all of the positive, shot making vibes, they have done amazing so far!!

The smile on our Coach Robert Sibbeston Jr.s face says it all!! How can we not be proud and happy with SILVER Ulus!! Such a tight and well played final by both teams!

It is tough to go undefeated until literally the last shot!! But we are happy for Team Yukon, for you guys to get the Win in front of your LOUD and PROUD on ICE home town fans, what a memory!!

We are so proud of the incredible shots we made the past 4 days, the way we stuck together and worked together through every single end, shot, sweep! To get silver playing this way, is there some disappointment, of course but we are so incredibly proud of our Team! We have been together for 4 SEASONS!!! Stuck together through thick and thin and could not be prouder of where we are as a team!! Our love of this game is fueled by more than just a win, by the friendships (and family) we have on this team, along with the friendships we have within our curling community and how much fun we have on and off the ice!!!

Coach Robert, we only hope one day we will be able to pay it forward the amazing support you have given us! Your positive energy is contagious! To have a Mentor like you by our side, priceless! Without you, none of this would be possible LITERALLY!!!

Here we go! 30 minutes until we hit the ice for a chance at the Gold! It will be another game against Team Yukon!!

Thank-you to everyone again for cheering us on and sending us all of this awesome positive energy!! We appreciate all of your support!!

After another fun game against Team Yukon late this afternoon, we were able to grab another win! We have secured our spot in tomorrow evenings GOLD medal game @7:00pm (8:00pm Alberta Time).

We will have to wait for the Page Playoff games to be completed, and will then be able to update everyone with who we will play!

This game WILL be live streamed on the App and Website!

Please keep cheering us on from far and wide, we can truly feel everyone’s support!!

We had another good game this morning against Team Northwest Territories. We were able to grab another win and have finished the Round Robin in First place!

Playoffs start shortly here at 3:00pm (4:00pm Alberta time). We will be playing Team Yukon!

Once again thank you to everyone who keeps cheering us on and sending all the positive energy our way!! We genuinely appreciate every bit of it!!
