🏀 RISE ABOVE BASKETBALL ACADEMY – SUMMER CLUB TRYOUTS 🏀

Think you have what it takes? Join us for our Summer Club Tryouts on Saturday, July 12!

We are looking for players for our:
🔥 U13 Boys Team
🔥 U15 Boys Team
🔥 High School Boys Team

📋 Please fill out the Google Form to register.
⏰ Tryout times will be sent out prior to the event.

Summer Club includes:
🏀 Two practices per week (Tuesdays & Thursdays)
🏆 One Tournament

🏆 DOUBLE GOLD WEEKEND 🏆

History was made in Edmonton.

🥇 Our U15 Boys went a perfect 5-0 and captured their first tournament championship in THREE YEARS, finishing the weekend with a dominant 30-point victory in the gold medal game.

🥇 Our High School Boys also went undefeated, earning the program’s FIRST EVER high school gold medal. Down 13 points in the 4th quarter of the championship game, they showed incredible heart and fought all the way back to win by 2 points.

Two teams. Two undefeated weekends. Two gold medals.

So proud of these young men and the way they represented Rise Above Basketball Academy. The joy, the brotherhood, and the memories made this weekend are what it’s all about.🏀❤️

Big congratulations to Reid Olson on being named MVP of the June Jamfest Tournament by Showdown Series! 💪🏽🔥

Reid put on a show all weekend, exploding for 38 points in just 3 quarters in our opening game and saving his best for last with a dominant 42-point performance in the Gold Medal Game. His work ethic, leadership, and ability to rise to the moment were on full display. 🙌🏽

Our U15 Boys finish the June Jamfest Tournament by Showdown Series with a perfect 5-0 record, bringing home the Championship Gold!🥇

This group showed incredible toughness, teamwork, and determination all weekend long. Every player contributed, competed, and represented Rise Above Basketball excellently!

A huge thank you to the parents, families, and supporters who cheered us on throughout the tournament. The work continues, but we're proud of what this team accomplished this weekend. (We dedicate this win to Eli, Tyler, Luke who couldn't make it because of injuries. Wish you boys a speedy recovery 🙌🏽💪🏽)

Our U13 boys went 4-0 this weekend and brought home 1st Place Gold at the Swan City Pomeroy Tournament! 🥇

This isn’t just another tournament win, it’s the first U13 gold medal in Rise Above Basketball history.💯🙌🏽🏀

So proud of this group for the way they competed, trusted each other, and represented our program all weekend long. The growth, effort, and commitment these athletes have shown is paying off.

To our players, parents, and coaches thank you for being part of this journey. This is a special milestone for our club, and it’s only the beginning.
