This July, six teams will make their way to Yellowknife for the inaugural Northwestern Invitational Fastball Championship.

Coming north to chase the title:

🥎 Brokenbow Blazers Fastball— Prince George, BC
🥎 Can-West Thunder Fastball Club— Cross Lake, MB
🥎 Grande Prairie Masters Pirates— Grande Prairie, AB
🥎 North American Braves — CAN / USA / MEX
🥎 Yellowknife Merchants — Yellowknife, NT

From British Columbia to Manitoba to Alberta, and even across international borders, some serious talent is heading north.

The diamonds are ready. The beverage gardens will be cold. The competition will be at an all-time high.

Games will be live streamed and all updates posted to the Merchants page.

Not the end result a team ever looks for but a hard fought week for the Pirates. Dropping a difficult 3-2 tiebreaker to the Shakespeare Falcons from Ontario eliminated the Pirates from the tournament.
