JC Racing Stables Smoky River Racing Stable (SRRS) is a partnership formed to provide affordable fractional ownership for horse racing enthusiasts!

Experience the thrill of ownership in the sport of horse racing while keeping the costs at minimum with an annual membership to join. SRRS will focus on the purchase of 3-5 race ready horses for the 2021 horse racing season in Alberta. Membership has been capped to 25 partners. We are FOUR days away from the 97th Running of the Canadian Derby here at Century Mile on Saturday, August 22!
There are 4 major Thoroughbred stakes races that day! The $75,000 Northlands Distaff (Race 8), the $100,000 Dale "The Colonel" Saunders Speed to Spare Championship (Race 10), the $100,000 Century Casino Oaks (Race 9) and the $200,000 Canadian Derby (Race 11)!
Doors open at 1:00pm. First race is at 2:45pm.
