Hey baseball families! It’s time to have a little celebration for the Cubs. What better way to spend the first day of school- to have your kids fed supper, and go home exhausted and straight to bed?!

The message will come through on your team chat, please let your managers know if your child will be there along with any non-baseball siblings who are welcome to join!

Check out the 11U A Cubs! They participated in the Baseball Alberta Provincial championships for tier 6.

They came out in 5th place. And no matter how each game ended, they smiled and laughed the ENTIRE TIME!

Work hard, kids. You never know where hard work will take you! Go Cubs! ⚾️💙

What an experience our Grande Cache Cubs girls had at the very first Female Zone Championship in Calgary! They represented Zone 8 and came short of the bronze medal, but played their hearts out.

The talent on the baseball fields this weekend was incredible! We are very proud as an association for the girls to come from Grande Cache to play their game. Adrianna, Alexa, Aurora, Brynley, Chessa, Emma and Olivia - way to go!!

Girls Baseball is about to be on fire in Alberta! Keep working hard girls, we can’t wait to see what next season brings!

It’s a big weekend for our 11U A Cubs!! They’re in Slave Lake for Baseball Alberta Provincials! This is a first for our association and we’re proud of these young girls and boys!

The 11U A Grande Cache Cubs were on the road last weekend to experience their first league play! Next weekend they’ll take part in Provincials!

This is the experience these kids have been waiting for. And while they didn’t win a game, they enjoyed the camaraderie and playing against other teams! They’ve been practicing hard and are excited for next weekend’s tournament!

⚾️BASEBALL - The Grande Cache Cubs finished 4th overall at the very first 16U Baseball Alberta Girls League Provincial Championships.

They were held June 26 - 29 at Evergreen Park hosted by Grande Prairie Minor Baseball.

⚾️⚾️ This year marks the first time the Alberta Amateur Baseball Council (AABC) is running a female only championship weekend!

Grande Cache Minor Baseball is proud to introduce 7 female athletes from the 16U Cubs who have been selected to represent the Zone 8 team! The championship weekend is taking place in Calgary, July 16-18th. Let’s go girls!!

16U Grande Cache Cubs! They went up to Grande Prairie on the weekend to take part in the Baseball Alberta Girls League Provincials!

They came out on Friday with their bats on fire! Then the rain interfered and it was on and off all weekend. While we didn’t take all the wins home, this team has so much talent and potential! We’re excited to see them continue to develop as baseball players and young women!

The weather in Grande Prairie was a challenge. Big props to the organizers who battled rain all weekend and spent hours working on the fields so the girls could play! Here’s to next season!
