Join us for two exciting GFI Mini Baseball Games featuring some of our local youth teams as they showcase their skills on the big stage at James Donaldson Park.

We’re not saying we’re desperate for volunteers… but some of us have already started standing on the side of the road with cardboard signs. 😂

The countdown to the Grand Forks International Baseball Tournament is on, and we can always use a few more helping hands. Whether it’s a few hours at the Hardball Café, helping with events, or just pitching in where needed, every volunteer makes a huge difference.

Another fan favourite is back for the 2026 Grand Forks International Baseball Tournament! ⚾

Please welcome the Calgary Dinger Bat Diamondbacks to this year’s lineup!

Since joining the tournament in 2022, the Diamondbacks have quickly become one of the most popular teams with fans and players alike. They bring a highly competitive roster from the Alberta Provincial Men’s League and are always a team to watch when they take the field.

Known for their strong play, competitive spirit, and exciting games, we’re thrilled to have them returning to Grand Forks this June.

Soon the stands will be packed, the cheers will be loud, and some of the best baseball around will be taking the field right here in Grand Forks. From opening ceremonies to the final out, there’s nothing quite like GFI week.

Another powerhouse team is headed to the GFI! ⚾️

Please welcome the Burnaby Bulldogs — the 2014 GFI Champions and the last Canadian team to take home the title! 🇨🇦🏆

The Bulldogs are also 2-time Baseball Canada National Champions, with their most recent championship win coming in 2018 in Victoria.

We can’t wait to see them back on the field this summer as they battle for another GFI title! 👊🔥

If you have first aid training/certification — or know someone who does — we would love to hear from you. Volunteers play such an important role in helping keep our players, fans, and community safe throughout the tournament.
